This is Stevie Ray Vaughan in 1985/1986. 1985 was a time when two tours, “COULDN’T STAND THE WEATHER Tour” and “SOUL TO SOUL Tour,” were running in parallel, and this work was recorded during the latter. It was the 25th performance of “North America #3.” “LIVE ALIVE (part of)” was produced based on the Montreux Jazz Festival, but the Passaic performance in this work was about two months later.
This work, which conveys such a stage, is a lustrous and beautiful, superb professional shot. Of course, it was shot analogue due to the era, but this work is a remastered version that was recently released. Moreover, it was not produced by an amateur fan, but restored by a company specializing in digital. The finish is truly professional, with a screen without a single white line noise, smooth from corner to corner, and even the fine details are clear. The era created by the 1980s-style lighting remains intact, and the visual beauty is realistic and artistic.
The scorching hot stage, which can be seen with the eyes, is depicted with such superb quality. Not only are the members the same, but the set is also reminiscent of a famous live album. However, they are not exactly the same, so let’s organize them by comparing them.
●Soul to Soul (6 songs)
・Say What! / Ain’t Gone’N’ Give Up On Love / Lookin’ Out The Window (★★) / Look At Little Sister / Change It / Life Without You

…And that’s how it goes. With the new album “SOUL TO SOUL” at the time as the core, the first three works are condensed and reduced. You can fully enjoy the peak potential for about 77 minutes, which exceeds “LIVE ALIVE”.
This is the highest quality updated master of a multi-camera pro shot that will become a cultural heritage. 40 years after the show, this is the finest piece that can be faced in 2025. Please enjoy it to your heart’s content.
