Description

The content of this unofficial double LP on Expensive Woodland Recordings comes from the vintage radio show King Biscuit Flower Hour, recorded on January 26, 1996 at Apotheosis Square in Rio de Janeiro. The following May the album “Wild Mood Swings” would be released, from which Robert Smith, Simon Gallup, Roger O’Donnell, Perry Bamonte and Jason Cooper anticipated the single “Mint Car” during the Brazilian show, adding it to a setlist packed with classics (“In Between Days”, “Disintegration”, “Three Imaginary Boys”, “Boys Don’t Cry”, “Killing An Arab”, “Close To Me”, “Charlotte Sometimes”, “A Forest”) and which also included pieces such as “From the Edge of the Deep Green Sea” (from “Wish”, 1992) and “Shiver And Shake” (from “Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me”, 1987).
