Description

An unofficial double CD on the Good Ship Funke label replicates the radio program of a concert given in Japan by the duo David Coverdale and Jimmy Page in December 1993 during a seven-date tour organized to promote their self-titled album released in March of that year (in North America and Europe the plan to organize a tour had been abandoned due to poor advance sales). Eight of the 11 tracks on the album are present in the setlist alongside Led Zeppelin classics such as “Rock And Roll” (in two versions), “Kashmir”, “Black Dog” and “In My Time Of Dying” (in medley with “Take Me For A Little While”), the Yardbirds’ “White Summer” and Whitesnake’s “Slide It In”, “Here I Go Again” and “Still Of The Night”. Coverdale (vocals) and Page (guitar) are joined by Guy Pratt (a long-time Pink Floyd collaborator, on bass), Brett Tuggle (keyboards) and Denny Carmassi (drums).
