Description
A recording of a performance at the Stardust Club in Rockford, Illinois on July 8, 1974, a rare recording from the time when vocalist Randy “Xeno” Hogan was still in the band before Robin Zander joined. Rather than the pop and catchy sound that followed their official debut, they performed in a rough hard rock style, with few original songs, and many covers such as the Stones’ “Stupid Girl,” Motown’s “Dancing in the Streets” and “Money,” Led Zeppelin’s “Rock and Roll,” and Janis’ “Move Over.” This is a rare live recording that shows the band’s roots!
