Description
Available on black vinyl, this limited-edition bootleg LP features 20 previously unreleased recordings made in January 1969 at Twickenham Studios (Richmond, London) during the sessions for the aborted “Get Back” album. In addition to Beatles tracks, these studio rehearsals include nods to Elvis Presley classics (“Let’s Have A Party”, “I Got Stung”) and The Foundations’ “Build Me Up Buttercup” as well as a version of “Teddy Boy” that Paul McCartney included on his 1970 solo album “McCartney”. Aside from a brief opening snippet linking The Drifters’ “Save The Last Dance For Me” to “Don’t Let Me Down”, side two is entirely taken up by several takes of “Let It Be”.
