This rare recording captures a live performance at Irving Plaza in New York, from their US tour immediately following the release of their third album, the critically acclaimed masterpiece ‘Kaleidoscope’, captured in excellent stereo audience recording quality! Digitally transferred from a low-generation master, it boasts a wide dynamic range, excellent balance across all parts including vocals, and a clear sound quality that is considered top-class for its time.

Furthermore, pitch discrepancies originating from the master have been carefully corrected and the recording has been remastered.

This live performance by the newly reformed Bangees, featuring former Slits drummer Budgie as an official member and former Magazine guitarist John McGough, showcases a setlist featuring nine songs from ‘Kaleidoscope,’ including the lead single “Happy House” released in March of the same year and the single “Christine” released in May.
