Taken from the vintage radio broadcast, this unofficial CD reproduces the concert that Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble gave on February 1, 1987, at the Majestic Theatre in San Antonio, Texas. In the midst of the ‘Live Alive Tour’ that took them busy from late November 1986 to December 31, 1988, Stevie Ray (guitar and vocals), Chris Layton (drums), Tommy Shannon (bass), and Reese Wynans (keyboards) are well-oiled in this ‘home’ show that begins with an instrumental medley of ‘Scuttle Buttin” and ‘Say What,’ then draws from the albums ‘Soul To Soul,’ ‘Couldn’t Stand The Weather,’ and ‘Texas Flood,’ while the captivating finale includes ‘Life Without You,’ written by Vaughn in memory of his mentor and great friend Charley Wirz, and the single ‘Love Struck Baby.’
