BEATFILE is releasing a brand-new 2026 compilation serving as an alternate collection of Harry Nilsson’s 1974 album 『Pussy Cats』, which was released with John Lennon’s full cooperation!

Produced during John’s “Lost Weekend” in the midst of the chaos in Los Angeles, the album features a star-studded lineup including Ringo Starr, Keith Moon, Jim Keltner, Jesse Ed Davis, Klaus Voormann, and Bobby Keys, all under John’s production. It includes all tracks from the album in the 4-channel quadraphonic mix, which was originally released as a limited edition. Even the stereo remaster derived from the multi-channel sources features mixes different from the standard edition. The bonus tracks include rare commercials, documentary footage, and three demo recordings.
