Exclusively obtain the stereo soundboard master of the full stage at the legendary Woodstock!
The legendary music festival “Woodstock” held in 1969. The stereo soundboard master of the full stage of The Who, who was highly praised for its amazing performance among the many artists who performed, has finally been released on CD. The rough-sounding mono soundboard was leaked and booted in the late 90s, and this master was also used in the half-official CD released in recent years. Many fans were disappointed by the fatal master, which had a cut during the song See Me, Feel Me, which was the highlight of the day, in addition to the sound quality that was too rough to listen to. And in 2019, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Woodstock, a high-priced luxury box was released that recorded all the artists’ full stages in full on stereo soundboard recordings, limited to 1969 sets worldwide, but it was a frustrating situation that only 1969 people in the world were able to listen to this. So, Empress Valley, which has a worldwide network, took advantage of its mobility to independently obtain another master of The Who’s stereo soundboard recording of that day! If you managed to get the box set, please listen to it, but the mastering of this board is different from that of the box set. Although it is a slight difference, it is certainly a different master. The complete stereo soundboard master of the legendary stage that many The Who fans have been waiting for for many years. You can’t call yourself a Who fan without listening to this. According to the materials, The Who on that day was pushed by the performers from the front, and they had to wait for 10 hours while only water and drugs were available, and finally took the stage at 3am the next day. It is hard to believe that such a situation was the case, and the performance full of tremendous tension formed by Roger’s fringe-swaying shouts, Pete’s intense sound of the SG, Mooney’s unique drums from the two-bass setting, and John’s brilliance bass exploded throughout the whole performance.
The album includes the speech of Abbie Hoffman before the Who’s appearance, which explains the meaning behind his intrusion after Pinball Wizard. The cover also features a rare photo from the day. This is the long-awaited work for The Who fans!
