Description
Pressed by Casino Records Entertainment in a limited edition (200 numbered copies) and on colored vinyl, this double LP with a gatefold cover reproduces the special concert that U2 held on June 6, 1983 at the CU Events Center in Boulder, Colorado: a free-entry show organized by the Irish quartet for the many fans who had been unable to reach the Red Rocks arena on May 5 due to a storm and heavy rain, missing the appointment with a legendary performance later published on record and videocassette with the title “U2 Live At Red Rocks: Under A Blood Red Sky”. An excellent audience source recording allows us to listen for the first time on physical media to an equally intense performance at the time of the “War” tour, further enhanced by a version of Bob Dylan’s “A Hard Rain’s A-Gonna Fall” performed with the recently deceased Mike Peters’ Alarm.
