Description

Son of Edge, a rare and unreleased album by Styx, a band that enjoyed numerous hits in the US in the ’70s and ’80s, is finally here! This album features nine demo tracks, recorded in the highest quality possible, originally intended for an album originally scheduled for release in 1992 but shelved due to the rise of the grunge movement. It has become legendary among fans as the “phantom album” following their 1990 album, Edge of the Century. This highly anticipated album features rare, unreleased material from 1992, when the band attempted to revive their sound with the addition of new guitarist Glenn Burtnick, replacing Tommy Shaw, but ultimately went unreleased.
