Complete recording of two sources that were broadcast separately, including FM sound sources recorded with high-quality stereo soundboard recordings of the Argentine performance from the tour that released “THE RAPTURE” in 1995!~

Approximately four months after the release of “The Rapture,” their 11th and final studio album, this new release features a live performance at the Estadio Obras Sanitarias, a 4,700-capacity indoor arena in Buenos Aires, Argentina, recorded with high-quality stereo soundboard recordings. This complete set features two separate FM broadcasts. The two sources are remastered and include both a single source, featuring a larger selection of tracks but with DJ talk, and a single source with fewer tracks but no DJ talk, but featuring two tracks not included on the DJ talk source: “Trust In Me” and “Peek A Boo.” All of the tracks performed on the day are available on both sources, except for the final track, “Israel.” The intro to “O Baby” and the middle section of “Kiss Them For Me” are missing a few seconds on the DJ-included source, but these have been filled in from the other source. The setlist, which includes the opening track “The Double Life” and the final single “Stargazer,” as well as eight tracks from their latest album, “The Rapture,” produced by John Cale, “The Killing Jar” from “Peepshow,” a cover of the Beatles’ 1983 single “Dear Prudence,” and of course early numbers like “Christine” and “Cities in Dust,” offers a clear, satisfying performance by the Bungies, featuring guitarist John Crane, who joined in 1987, and multi-instrumentalist Martin McCarrick, who also joined in 1987 and plays keyboards, cello, and guitar.
