ROXY MUSIC – SONGS FOR EUROPE: LIVE 1974

Description

An unofficial double CD by Audio Vaults collects Roxy Music’s radio and television recordings made in various European countries during 1974 (the year of the release of their fourth album “Country Life”). The 11 songs on the first disc come from the concert of 28 October of that year at Newcastle City Hall: “Prairie Rose”, “Three And Nine”, “If It Takes All Night” and the hit single “All I Want Is You” enrich a setlist that also includes old hits such as “Virginia Plain”, “Street Life” and “Re-Make Re-Model”. The second disc contains seven songs recorded on 27 November 1974 at the Palais des Congres in Paris and broadcast by the radio station Europe 1 plus 5 songs performed on 23 January of the previous year for German TV during the program “Beat Workshop/Musikladen”.
