PINK FLOYD – VOICELESS: PARADISO 1969 (LP)

Description

This bootleg LP, labeled Confident Pigeon Records, contains the recording of the concert that Pink Floyd held at the Paradiso in Amsterdam on August 9, 1969. A decidedly anomalous and sui generis show (“voiceless”, as the title suggests), recorded by the Dutch radio station Hilversum 3 but not broadcast at the time due to what happened that evening on stage: due to the malfunction of a microphone that occurred during the first stages of the show, David Gilmour, Roger Waters, Richard Wright and Nick Mason were forced to fall back on an exclusively instrumental set, never resurfaced in public until 2007.
