★UPGRADE!!!
The second leg of the 1975 US tour, which began in June and is a treasure trove of superb audiences and is extremely popular with enthusiasts, began in June. Just mentioning the names of places like Jersey City, Nassau, and Boston was enough to give enthusiasts a sense of the outstanding quality of the audience recordings. Among these, the Landover 2 Days, which took place at the beginning of the tour, was completely overlooked.
On these two days, the first day was a situation where “there were multiple different materials from the same source, but each had its own problems,” and on the second day there was only a sound source capturing only the first set. The first day in particular was known as a day with few items, but the masterpiece that put an end to that situation is Sigma 142’s “DEFINITIVE LANDOVER 1975.” After carefully examining the multiple existing sound sources, the first day was compiled and the second day was also covered. It was a literally DEFINITIVE release.
However, it’s already been 10 years since the release of this masterpiece. Not only has it become a rare sight even on the secondhand market, but the Landover 75 itself has become extremely less well-known compared to the other great recordings mentioned above. In fact, there are many people who have never heard of the Landover 75. In fact, the Landover was one of the most eagerly awaited Floyd 75s to be reissued.
The unfortunate Landover will be here until this week. The long-awaited new release is finally here. Ten years have passed, but it’s a blessing that new upgraded recordings have been released in the meantime. With that material in mind, it’s “GRAF ZEPPELIN” who has created a new Landover.
First, for the first set, I used [Source 2] (see the audio source summary note at the end of this article), a copy of the 3rd generation Sigma 142. In contrast, this time I used [Source 1] (see the audio source summary note at the end of this article), which clearly has superior sound quality, despite the unknown genera. The upper feeling is obvious, and once you hear [Source 1], the 1st set of Sigma 142 sounds muddy. In addition, the sound image is closer to this [Source 1], and by using this, the difference in sound quality with the 2nd set and later is eliminated, which is a major advantage as it allows you to enjoy high sound quality overall.
From the second set to the end, we again used the first-gen [Source 3] (see the audio source organization note at the end of this article). The sound quality has been well-received since the release of Sigma 142, but this time, thanks to GRAF ZEPPELIN’s complete reworking of the sound source, it’s as if the final layer of the already excellent sound quality has been removed, resulting in a truly brilliant sound. The vividness of the ticking sounds in “Time” and the gradual fading of Gilmour’s cutting as “Echoes” transitions into the middle section are particularly impressive.
The second day saw the release of Sigma 75’s “LANDOVER 1975,” a nostalgic single, re-released on Sigma 142. Of course, this time, GRAF ZEPPELIN also completely reworked it, resulting in a sound with even greater depth than those two titles. While it doesn’t quite reach the same intense soundscape as the previous day’s [Source 3], it’s still a truly high-quality 1975 album. While it’s still a shame that only the first set is included, you can fully experience the power of the wild performances of the new songs, typical of the first set of the 1975 tour.
In the first place, what remains from the two days of the Landover concert is a consistent mono audience. While the famous Aud group mentioned first in June 1975 was almost entirely stereo recording, the mono recording offers a clearer sense of grain and a more vivid feel, with instruments and phrases seemingly jumping out of the speakers. Especially on the first day, the charm of mono recording explodes from the opening, compared to the Sigma 142.
In a tour blessed with so many recordings, the 1975 Landover 2 Days recording had been left abandoned for 10 years like an isolated island. The Sigma 142 was completely unavailable on the second-hand market, making it difficult for enthusiasts, even those who had never heard of Landover, to find it. Now, GRAF ZEPPELIN has reborn this recording. This is the ultimate!
REMASTERED BY GRAF ZEPPELIN

★Remastered and reissued for the first time in 10 years

Contains all the songs from Landover on June 9th and the 10th (up to the 1st set)!
The main performance on the 9th is the same source, but the best choice of different sources!
The overall recording has the same concept as the Sigma 147 version, but the 1st set of the 9th performance on Disc 1 is probably the 3rd Gen sound source on the Sigma 147 version. This time, although the gene is unknown, it is definitely fresher and recorded with the current best master! Overall, the definitive Landover performance recorded with the latest careful remaster!

【Sound source arrangement】

★Opening day: June 9th

The audio sources below are all the same, but there are multiple variations in sound quality and texture that have been released during the distribution process.

Below are three representative examples.

・Source 1 “Unknown Gen Stratcat58 tape” ★Used in this 1st set

The best source of the 1st set. The crazy part of the 2nd set has poor sound quality.

・Source 2 “3rd Gen Marbal Collection” ★Unused this time

It seems to be the 3rd Gen, but this was probably used in the first part of Sigma142.

The sound quality of the 2nd set is better than the above sources, but the 2nd set is inferior to the sound source below, so it was not used this time.

・Source 3 “cass[1]-cdr(3) Bert13” ★Used in Madness and Echoes

Only the second set after Madness is available, but this is the part with the best sound out of the three.

★Day 2 June 10th (1st set only)

As of now, only the first set of tickets for the second day’s performance on the 10th has been confirmed for distribution.
