OFF THE SHELF – 2 LP Already recently released on an unofficial double CD, the complete recording of the concert that Pink Floyd held on September 22, 1972 at the Hollywood Bowl is now also available on vinyl and on two separate volumes of two LPs each branded Off The Shelf. This is one of the few overseas shows of the period to be broadcast on the radio and to witness the American leg of a tour in which Roger Waters, David Gilmour, Richard Wright and Nick Mason previewed the entire “The Dark Side Of The Moon” over five months before the album was released. The two red vinyls included in the second volume contain the final part of the show, with the 29 minutes of the “Echoes” suite divided into the two sides of the first disc, followed by the older “A Saucerful Of Secrets” and “Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun”.
