[A masterpiece refined from the best master guitar recognized by specialist websites]
This is Pink Floyd in 1975. This Seattle concert was the second show of the “Wish You Were Here Tour.” This show is famous above all for the legendary recording it left behind. Although only one recording of the performance has been found, it has been upgraded many times through different generations and routes, making it a classic. This release is also one of those traditional recordings, but it is a new master that surpasses the previous best.
The previous best version was the master released by the prestigious “JEMS,” which we were familiar with through titles like “DEFINITIVE SEATTLE 1975.” However, this release is a new master discovered later, commonly known as “REELING IN SEATTLE.” It comes from a different source than the JEMS version, and has been given the seal of approval by the overseas music specialist site “Raving and Drooling,” making it widely considered the best master currently available.
This album is a unique live album that has been further refined by “GRAF ZEPPELIN” from the already excellent master recording. The mastering process, carried out with meticulous care, has pushed the boundaries to new heights. The result is, once again, incredibly detailed. By properly removing the hum noise that was a chronic issue with this recording, the overall sound has become clearer and more transparent, and by further correcting the mid-to-high frequencies, the sound has become much more open and vibrant. As a result, the already highly acclaimed “REELING IN SEATTLE” master has been revived to be even more natural and vibrant. This is truly an exceptional recording.
[A tight and masterful performance from the “WISH YOU WERE HERE Tour”]
This sound depicts a full show from the “WISH YOU WERE HERE Tour,” a performance that is well-known for its excellence. 1975 was a time when Pink Floyd was transforming from their previous ethereal sound to a harder, more powerful band sound, and the Seattle performance perfectly captures that essence. The vocals are high-energy, the playing is tight, and it’s incredibly cool.
The setlist consists of new songs from the then-in-production new album “WISH YOU WERE HERE” (DISC 1) and all the tracks from the previous album “The Dark Side of the Moon” (DISC 2). This release allows you to fully enjoy the approximately two-and-a-half-hour full show, right up to the encore masterpiece “Echoes” (DISC 3). The setlist is already familiar, but perhaps because this was only the second show of the tour, the concentration is superb. In particular, the final song, “Eclipse,” is a must-listen. The soaring vocals and chorus come together to create a moving finale.
Among the many versions derived from the original master, the “REELING IN SEATTLE” master is widely considered the “best currently available.” This is the latest and greatest version of the Seattle performance, meticulously remastered by “GRAF ZEPPELIN.” This cultural heritage album allows you to experience the tight, masterful performance of the hard-hitting “WISH YOU WERE HERE Tour” firsthand. Please enjoy this permanently preserved 3CD set.
★A superb audience recording of the April 10, 1975 Seattle concert. This is the so-called “REELING IN SEATTLE” master, which the overseas specialist site “Raving and Drooling” has hailed as the “best,” and boasts an exceptional sound that surpasses previous JEMS masters. Furthermore, “GRAF ZEPPELIN” has meticulously mastered it, removing hum noise and correcting the mid-to-high frequencies, resulting in a polished, natural sound with excellent clarity. This is a new cultural heritage album that allows you to experience Pink Floyd’s tight and masterful performance, which had transformed into a harder sound, for approximately two and a half hours.

Like previous releases, this is a digital transfer from the Master, but the process is different from versions such as JEMS.

It was already in mono at the time of release (it was originally recorded in mono), and there are no phase shift issues!
Furthermore, EQ processing corrects the mid-to-high frequencies, resulting in a clearer and more articulate sound.
It’s also a rare opportunity to hear the sound effects that play before the performance of “Raving” begins at the start of the live show!
