Surprisingly, this double CD on the Audio Vaults label has already surfaced in the UK charts (at number 29), capturing Pink Floyd’s performance at the Théâtre Comedie Des Champs Elysees in Paris in January 1970. The first CD includes a performance of the suite “The Man And The Journey”, with alternate and retitled versions of tracks such as “Grantchester Meadows”, “Biding My Time” and “Cymbaline”; the second includes other tracks from the soundtrack of the film “More”, warhorses of the period such as “Careful With That Axe, Eugene” and “Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun” and a still-worked “Atom Heart Mother” with the provisional title of “The Amazing Pudding”. Rare and collectible recordings, finally available with digital remastering.
