LATE LUNCH – 3 LP
Description
The bootleg label Late Lunch is releasing a limited edition three-LP set of the recording of the famous concert that saw Pink Floyd perform at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza on May 20, 1989. At that show, and on other dates of the tour promoting the album “A Momentary Lapse Of Reason,” David Gilmour, Nick Mason, and Richard Wright performed the entire album released in 1987 (including the singles “Learning To Fly” and “On The Turning Away”; only “One Slip,” played in the encore, is missing here) alongside the great classics, with plenty of space for “The Dark Side Of The Moon” and “Wish You Were Here,” and a finale dedicated to “The Wall.” On stage with the three protagonists were keyboardist Jon Carin, wind player Scott Page, bassist Guy Pratt, guitarist Tim Renwick, percussionist Gary Wallis, and backing vocalists Rachel Fury, Durga McBroom, and Lorelei McBroom.
