The unofficial Room On Fire label is releasing on a limited edition white vinyl the radio recording of the concert that Pink Floyd held on January 23, 1972 at the Guildhall in Southampton: the fourth occasion in which the English group presented, more than a year before the album’s release, the entire “The Dark Side Of The Moon”, with some songs not yet in their final version (“The Travel Sequence” instead of “On The Run” and “The Mortality Sequence” not yet evolved into “The Great Gig In The Sky”, while “Brain Damage” was still called “The Lunatic Song” and the final “Eclipse” had not yet been included at the end of the suite). The album does not contain the songs performed in the second part of the concert.
