PINK FLOYD – LIVE IN LONDON 1970 (LP)
$39.00
EUROPEAN IMPORT – LP
Description
Pressed on limited-edition pink vinyl, this unofficial LP reproduces the famous concert that Pink Floyd performed on July 16, 1970, at the Paris Theatre in London for BBC Radio One in front of fewer than 400 spectators (such was the capacity of the old cinema). The recording was broadcast on July 19 and repeated on July 22 on the program “Sound Of The Seventies,” and on that occasion the group performed, in addition to some old classics, three songs from the still-unreleased “Atom Heart Mother”: “Fat Old Sun” (sung by David Gilmour), “If” (sung by Roger Waters), and a version of the title track performed with the Philip Jones Brass Ensemble and the John Aldiss Choir, the latter also featured on the studio recording.
