EXPENSIVE WOODLAND RECORDINGS – 2 LP
Available on backorder
Description
After having already distributed it on CD, Expensive Woodland Recordings is publishing on two unofficial coloured and limited edition LPs the (partial) recording of the concert that Pink Floyd held at the Brighton Dome on 28 June 1972, performing the entire “The Dark Side Of The Moon” (with some pieces still in progress: “The Travel Sequence” instead of “On The Run”, “The Mortality Sequence” instead of “The Great Gig In The Sky”), this time without the technical problems that in the same place, the previous January, had forced the English quartet to interrupt the performance during “Money”. The set closes with “Careful With That Axe, Eugene” and “One Of These Days” while missing from the recording are “Echoes”, “Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun” and the encore with a short version of “A Saucerful Of Secrets”.
