Reissued on blue vinyl in a limited edition by the unofficial Room On Fire label, “Embryo’s Sculptures” takes from the radio broadcast of the time a part of the concert that Pink Floyd held on February 20, 1972 at the Rainbow in London, presenting the entire “The Dark Side Of The Moon” more than a year ahead of its release. Exactly one month after the debut of the group’s new British tour in Brighton during which the performance of the “concept” had to be abandoned halfway due to technical problems, the last of the three dates scheduled in the historic London hall saw Roger Waters, David Gilmour, Richard Wright and Nick Mason perform the entire album sequence from which “Time” and “The Great Gig In The Sky” are missing from this LP.
