Description
Coors Field, Denver, CO, USA 11th October 2025 TRULY PERFECT SOUND
The latest performance from Paul McCartney’s 2025 “GOT BACK” tour, which began at the end of September, has been released as soon as possible. The performance took place in Denver on October 11th. This is literally the fastest release, as it is a live performance that took place on Sunday in Japan time.
The audience recording that appeared on the internet this time has a moderate sense of distance and echo, and is attractive for its mild listening comfort and clear sound quality. By adding equalization to it upon release, Paul’s singing voice was further brought to the forefront.
It seems that there are many enthusiasts who have already downloaded it as it is the latest performance, but instead of simply releasing it, it has been polished to a more listenable state and there is no room for error.
The biggest surprise for fans of the 2025 “GOT BACK” tour was the opening repertoire, “Help!” Although Paul had sung it as part of a John Lennon medley in 1990, this was the first time it had been performed in its entirety, including with the band.
The impact is truly great, and the performance is truly wonderful. This is a great new repertoire that we cannot help but want to hear in Japan. This year also marks the 60th anniversary (!) of the release of “Help!”
In addition, on this day only, there was a phenomenon where John’s original singing voice of “Help!” could be heard at the beginning of the song. At this point, it is unclear whether this was because John’s voice, which was used for the guide vocal of harmony, was made to sound like an output, or whether it was a production like “I’ve Got A Feeling,” but it sounds interesting.
The following “Coming Up” has also been used as a sound check in recent years, but it’s been a while since they last performed it in the main live show. From there, “Got To Get You Into My Life” and “Drive My Car” are performed, creating an incredibly fascinating performance that includes a collection of Beatles numbers from 1965 to 1966.
As this was only the fifth show of the tour, it goes without saying that the band’s performance was rock solid, and Paul sang with such passion that it was hard to believe he was over 80. From his own perspective, it was as if he was conveying his strong determination that he was still going strong.
On the other hand, a very unusual happening was also captured, where he tried to start the regular “Band On The Run” and stopped for a moment. Although it was a small scene, it was rare for Paul, who always takes stable live performances for granted.
Paul’s live performances have always featured surprising opening repertoire, but the selection of a new Beatles number was even more surprising. Sixty years after the song’s release, who would have thought the day would come when Paul would sing it? This is the fastest release yet, allowing you to enjoy just the much talked-about opening track, “Help!”
