This week, Paul’s latest “GOT BACK” tour will be released as a limited edition CD of the two-day Atlanta performance, featuring exclusive in-ear monitor recordings from two shows plus the second day’s sound check! This time, it’s released in stunning official soundboard quality, featuring a matrix of IEM and AUD recordings remixed using the latest AI technology!

Regarding this year’s “GOT BACK” tour, while a wealth of video footage is appearing on YouTube in 2025, the audience has not been able to find a high-quality recording, and at best it has only been released at CD-R level, which must have been a frustrating situation for enthusiasts, despite it being the latest tour.

Now, two days’ worth of performances have been recorded in ultra-clear in-ear monitors. Moreover, the sound source is from the Atlanta performance, which has never been released on CD, and even the sound check can be enjoyed with the same superb soundboard quality, making it the height of luxury. What’s most pleasing for enthusiasts is that the opening live performance, starting with “Help!”, the highlight of this tour, can finally be enjoyed with perfect sound quality.

This time, rather than just using the IEM sound source as is, our engineers, who have been well-received for numerous Oasis-related titles this year, remixed it using AI separation and matrixed it with audience recording sources (also our own sound source). This completely eliminates the imbalance and flat, bland texture typical of in-ear monitors, resulting in a level of perfection that is practically like a stereo soundboard recording. Paul and the other band members’ performances are recorded with such clarity that the stereo separation is excellent. If we added ambient cheering to this, it would be possible to release it as an official live album. The clarity is so high that it will shock not only enthusiasts but also beginners.

It’s so fascinating to be able to enjoy the long-awaited opening song “Help!” with the highest sound quality. Not only is the impact of Paul’s vocals impressive, but the performance of the band, which faithfully recreates the atmosphere of the Beatles 60 years ago, is also clearly conveyed.

Furthermore, “Coming Up,” which had long been a sound check repertoire, returns to the live performance for the first time in a long while, and with the addition of horns, it evolves into “Peter Gunn,” creating an exciting arrangement that seems worthy of a return to the main program. The even more vivid horn sounds of the following “Got to Get You Into My Life,” and even the twin leads in the intro to “Drive My Car” can be clearly heard thanks to the clear IEM sound source.

Artists of his generation tend to avoid consecutive performances due to physical limitations, but Paul is still amazed at his agility, continuing to perform consecutive shows even now at over 80. What’s more, Paul’s voice was clearly stronger on the second day than on the first, another surprising fact that can only be conveyed through this in-ear monitor recording.

Considering Paul’s current age, it’s only natural that the first day would have a “Dokkoisho” feel with songs up to “Letting Go,” but on the second day, I was once again surprised to hear Paul’s voice at full throttle from the early stages. Every year as the tour continues, I get a strong sense that he wants to stay active as long as his body allows, and listening to it with this super clear sound quality, I’m once again overwhelmed by how motivated he is.

In addition, his motivation is clearly conveyed from his current Beatle repertoire, such as “Now And Then” from last year and “Help!” In particular, with regard to the former, it is unique to these recordings that Paul seems to be singing with more confidence than last year.

And the sound quality of the sound check on the second day of Atlanta, which was recorded after the two live performances, was spectacular. It is no exaggeration to say that it is an official level stereo sound board, so you can enjoy a relaxed sound check of rare numbers in succession.

With the appearance of “Help!”, they have been demoted to sound check personnel (lol), and perform Beatle repertoire such as “A Hard Day’s Night” and “From Me To You,” as well as the now-nostalgic “Temporary Secretary,” all of which are fascinating performances of repertoire that is no longer performed in live shows.
