　The latest in the acclaimed “RECORDING VAULT” series, which has released rare and rare first-time recordings, is this release, capturing Wings’ early 1972 university tour and rehearsals. Due to the era, few recordings remain, and only two performances from the university tour are known. This release captures the opening performance at Nottingham University as well as the ICA rehearsal in London for the tour.

　The main focus of Disc 1 is the tour rehearsal held at the ICA Studios in London on February 1, 1972. This rehearsal marks Wings’ first tour, just one week away. While short snippets of recordings have been available in the past, the material on this release is unparalleled in number and length, representing unprecedented recordings.

　The main focus of Disc 2 is the tour’s first performance, February 9, 1972, at Nottingham University. While this recording has long been known, in 2025, an exceptionally high-quality source was unearthed and uploaded to YouTube. While most previously released recordings are borrowed from YouTube, this release is recorded from a uniquely sourced raw source. The YouTube recordings have been edited, and all titles based on them are included as is. However, this release features the precious raw source material, recorded unedited and in its original form. In terms of both sound quality and content, it is unparalleled. The opening track,

　”Wild Life,” on Disc 1, is a never-before-seen take without overdubs. The final tracks on each disc are also recorded from multi-track tape, also never-before-seen. This includes the

　raw source from the opening night of the 1972 Wings University tour, the Nottingham University performance, as well as never-before-seen tour rehearsal recordings, making this a valuable record of Wings’ early days that will amaze and delight fans. A beautiful picture disc with a permanently preserved press.
