Laser Media reissues on unofficial CD a famous audience (and stereo) source bootleg recorded on June 7, 1988 at the Concord Pavilion in California during the concert that went down in history as the first date ever of Bob Dylan’s (still ongoing) Never Ending Tour. Neil Young limits himself to playing electric guitar on the first six songs and the last four in the setlist alongside Dylan’s new band, which includes GE Smith on guitar (formerly with Hall & Oates and a member of the band on the television program “Saturday Night Live”), Kenny Aaronson on bass and Christopher Parker on drums. Among the singer-songwriter’s classics and more recent songs, there is also a version of the traditional “Lakes Of Pontchartrain”
