Description
The unofficial Blue Line label retrieved an old radio recording of a concert performed by Mott the Hoople in Germany in 1970, a year after the group’s formation and around the time of the release of their second album, “Mad Shadows.” That album features the studio versions of “No Wheels To Ride,” “Walkin’ With a Mountain,” and “Thunderbuck Ram,” while “Rock and Roll Queen” is from their debut album the previous year, “The Debt” is the B-side of the single “Midnight Lady,” and the rest are covers: “Long Red” by Mountain, “Ohio” by Neil Young, and “Keep a Knockin'” by Little Richard.
