Description

Expensive Woodland Recordings releases on an unofficial double vinyl a famous and very “bootlegged” Led Zeppelin concert recorded at the Playhouse Theatre in London on June 27, 1969 and recovered from the BBC radio broadcast of the time. Presented by DJ Alan Black, host of the famous program “Sound Of The Seventies” who after the first two songs interviews Jimmy Page and Robert Plant, the English quartet performs five songs from their debut album, while Page (partly supported by drummer John Bonham) also offers the instrumental “White Summer” which was already part of his repertoire during the Yardbirds days.
