[Complete soundboard unearthed through a unique insider route]

This is KISS in 1987/1988. The other day we introduced the shocking new excavation album “YOYOGI OLYMPIC POOL 1988.SOUNDBOARD (Zodiac 817),” but this Rochester performance was about three months earlier. It was the 23rd performance of “North America # 2.” As you can see above, “North America # 1” and “North America # 2” are a series of legs spanning the New Year holidays, and this show was near the halfway point.
Such a show is also known for the fact that a masterpiece soundboard was left behind, but this work is the highest peak update board. As usual, it is a new master of the best quality brought by our own related route, but what is more important is the length. It is a full show complete soundboard that is different from the conventional incomplete version!
However, it’s not a single master. It seems that the missing parts of “Reason To Live,” “Heaven’s On Fire,” and the encore “Detroit Rock City” have been supplemented with a different source. This wasn’t connected by our shop, but this style was the one used at the time of excavation. That said, this complementary source is definitely not the audience, but a superb soundboard. Although the feel changes slightly, the pleasure of enjoying the entire full show, including the previously missing parts, on a soundboard is irreplaceable.
[A full live album of the CRAZY NIGHTS Tour, featuring delicious songs]
And what is depicted in such a complete form is the full show of the “CRAZY NIGHTS Tour,” featuring delicious songs. Let’s organize it by comparing it with the iconic pro shot “PHILADELPHIA 1987 MASTER VIDEO.”
●CRAZY NIGHTS (3 songs)
Bang Bang You (★★) / Crazy Crazy Nights / Reason To Live (★★)
●Others (5 songs + 5 songs)
70’s: Love Gun / Cold Gin / Shout It Out Loud (*) / Rock And Roll All Nite / Detroit Rock City
80’s: Fits Like A Glove (★) / War Machine / Heaven’s On Fire / I Love It Loud / Lick It Up
*Note: Songs marked with “★” are not performed after the remake. In particular, songs marked with “★★” are exclusive to this tour. Songs marked with “*” are not available on the classic pro shot “PHILADELPHIA 1987 MASTER VIDEO”.
…And that’s how it goes. As mentioned above, “North America #1-2” was a single leg, but minor changes were made along the way. It also features “Shout It Out Loud,” which isn’t on the “PHILADELPHIA 1987 MASTER VIDEO.” And then there’s the “CRAZY NIGHTS” numbers. The album reached No. 18 in the US for the first time since “DYNASTY,” but none of the songs became live staples. In particular, “Bang Bang You” and “Reason To Live” are exclusive tracks that haven’t been performed since this tour.
Not only is it the best quality, but it’s also a soundboard album directly connected to the mix table that has been complemented to produce a full show. It’s an absolute must-have in the valuable “CRAZY NIGHTS Tour” collection. Please enjoy the best masters on a permanently preserved press CD.
★ Stereo soundboard recording of the “Rochester Performance on January 30, 1988.” This is a master leaked from the studio, unearthed through our own route, and is a complete version of all the songs in the full show, different from the conventional incomplete version. This is a rising star of a full live album that allows you to enjoy the precious “CRAZY NIGHTS Tour,” including “Bang Bang You” and “Reason To Live” exclusive to this tour.
