The newly discovered soundboard from the “CREATURES OF THE NIGHT Tour” has shocked collectors all over the world. Following last week, two more superb soundboard albums will be released simultaneously!
This is the second of two simultaneous releases. It’s a two-disc set that combines the super-powerful soundboard recordings of the “February 11, 1983 Pine Bluff Performance” and the “March 10, Houston Performance.” A total of five soundboard albums have been unearthed, including last week’s three consecutive releases. While the previous four were all “one performance = two discs,” this work features two shorter “one performance = one disc” sets. So, what position does this two performances occupy? Let’s take a bird’s-eye view of the schedule at the time, along with last week’s three.
● December 29, 1982 : Bismarck performance (Vinnie’s premiere)
*December 30: “SIOUX CITY 1982 SOUNDBOARD”

*March 23: “EL PASO 1983″ SOUNDBOARD”
March 26th – April 3rd (5 performances in North America)

*Note: The “*” mark indicates a live performance where the sound board was newly discovered this time.
These are the six types and five titles of soundboard recordings unearthed this time. The two performances of this work were in a position that connected between “TORONTO 1983 SOUNDBOARD” and “EL PASO 1983 SOUNDBOARD”.
This work, excavated from these two performances, is an ultra-powerful soundboard, just like the other four works. The unprocessed live performance, directly connected to the mix table, is poured into the brain with its core exposed. However, despite its powerful sound, unfortunately, the recording is incomplete. Not only are the entire show not included, but some songs even start with cut-ins (of course, in this work, the incongruity of such cuts is also adjusted with fades, and parts where the left and right stereo sense is broken are also corrected. It is finished so that it can be enjoyed as naturally as possible as a musical work).
For this reason, this work may seem like a bonus among the five newly discovered titles, but in fact, it is far more valuable than the others. To explain what this means, let’s take a look at the contents included here.
●CREATURES OF THE NIGHT (3 songs, 4 takes)
・Creatures of the Night (*) / I Love It Loud (*) / I Still Love You
●70s Classics (11 songs, 17 takes)
・KISS: Cold Gin (*) / Firehouse (*) / Black Diamond / Strutter
・DESTROYER: Detroit Rock City (*) / God Of Thunder / King Of the Night Time World (★)
・Other: Rock And Roll All Nite / Calling Dr. Love (*) / I Want You (*) / Love Gun
*Note: Songs marked with “★” are only available on the Pine Bluff recording (Disc 1). Songs marked with “*” are only available on the Houston recording (Disc 2).
… and so on. The Houston recording (Disc 2) gives a full view of the show while skipping around, while the Pine Bluff recording (Disc 1) focuses on the second half of the show.
The highlight, however, is the short Pine Bluff recording (Disc 1), which features “King of the Night Time World”! While it may seem like a semi-standard song in the entire history of KISS, they only performed this song once on the “CREATURES OF THE NIGHT Tour”…or rather, only once during the Vinnie Vincent era. Of course, this extremely rare live performance, not even heard on the other five albums, will send a direct sound straight into your brain.
The soundboard from the “CREATURES OF THE NIGHT Tour,” which suddenly exploded in 2022, has been unearthed. Unlike the other four works, which are almost fully recorded, this one may be a bit of a niche album. However, that’s exactly why it’s also an unavoidable two-disc set for enthusiasts. This is a one-of-a-kind, ultra-powerful soundboard album that lets you experience the one-off “King of the Night Time World” played by Vinnie. Please enjoy it to the fullest as the final work of this shocking new discovery!
This two-disc set combines the powerful soundboard recordings of the February 11, 1983 Pine Bluff concert and the March 10, 1983 Houston concert. This is the final installment of the CREATURES OF THE NIGHT tour soundboard series. While this two-performance set is shorter than the other four previous releases, the quality is unmatched, delivering a close-up sound directly connected to the mix desk. This is a one-of-a-kind, ultra-powerful soundboard album that also lets you experience the one-off “King of the Night Time World” performance by Vinnie.
