Description

Last year’s treasured video collection “KISSTORY” was a huge hit. Two sequels will be released at the same time!

Last year’s release, “KISSTORY VOLUME ONE,” featured footage from their debut through their mid-’70s success, and this release is its direct sequel. This album compiles rare footage from 1976, the band’s historic peak, as they released “DESTROYER” and “ROCK AND ROLL OVER.” The eight videos are arranged in chronological order. Let’s take a look at each one individually.

[DESTROYER Era (6 types)]
●Chapter 1-2 “April 21, 1976 Montreal Performance”
First up is Montreal, the seventh performance of the “DESTROYER Tour.” This is film footage taken with the band’s permission during their first Canadian tour.

There is no sound during the opening scenes of Montreal’s cityscape and the venue before the show begins, but don’t worry, it’s not a malfunction or an error. Of course, there is sound once the show starts (be careful of the volume!). You can see the wonderful early performances of “Flaming Youth” and “God Of Thunder.”

●Chapter 3-7 “June 27, 1976 Newberg Rehearsal”
Next up is a one-camera pro shot of a rehearsal about two months later. This is a rehearsal for the second half of the North American leg of the “DESTROYER Tour” that returned from the European tour, and you can witness a realistic rehearsal with stage sets, costumes, and pyro in full production mode.

●Chapter 8-10 “July 10, 1976 Roosevelt Performance”

● Chapter 11 “August 11, 1976 Fort Worth Performance”
continues with a recently discovered color 8mm film. Although it is vintage footage, the visual beauty of the footage, digitized directly from the master reel, is amazing, and you can enjoy the venue scenery and the sharp live performance that fully captures the era of “1976”.

●Chapter 12 “August 14, 1976 Peaches Records & Tapes”
Footage of an in-store event at the Atlanta branch of the famous record shop “Peaches Records and Tapes.” Photos have been known for some time, but here you can see the entire event in video.

Chapter 13: “September 3, 1976 Richfield Coliseum Performance” is
a classic piece of footage previously featured on the bonus DVDR. This 8mm film was shot from the stands directly next to the stage, looking down. Not only does it offer a digest of concerts from their heyday, but the Frankenstein Machine from “God of Thunder” is a must-see. It’s also the only working footage of the machine still in existence.

[ROCK AND ROLL OVER Era (2 types)]
■ Chapter 14 “RARO TV Commercial”
From here on, we move on to the “ROCK AND ROLL OVER” era. First up is the album’s masterpiece TV commercial, a treasured video with overwhelming visual beauty digitized directly from the master tape.

■Chapter 15-18 “October 29, 1976 Paul Lynde Halloween Special”
The final episode is the legendary TV show “Paul Lynde Halloween Special” that aired in 1976. This Halloween-themed special features excerpts of KISS’s appearances in the approximately one-hour slot.

This is also a completely official, super-beautiful master, and you can enjoy a historical masterpiece program that anticipates the cult movie “KISS MEETS THE PHANTOM OF THE PARK” with a comedy skit with a witch and a mime performance in a horror mansion set.

This is a collection of eight treasured videos spanning 1 hour and 20 minutes. This video masterpiece chronicles the “peak year of 1976” with the highest quality updated masters provided by researchers. It’s a direct sequel to the smash hit “KISSTORY VOLUME ONE 1974-1976.” Please enjoy both!
