Description

The Palace of Auburn Hills, Auburn Hills, MI, USA 14th October 1990 STEREO SBD(from Original Masters)

*The legendary official live album has been leaked!!
Eric Carr’s last “HOT IN THE SHADE Tour” was the largest even in the no-makeup era. The complete sound board has been leaked! It will be released on a press 2CD that will permanently preserve the treasure master that exceeds the official one!
This work is engraved with the “October 14, 1990 Auburn Hills performance”. It is a stereo soundboard recording. As some of you may have already noticed, this show has been known for its pro shot footage for a long time, and is a symbol of the “HOT IN THE SHADE Tour” which was made official with “KISSOLOGY VOLUME 2”. This work is not a sound drop. It is a complete soundboard that is different from the incomplete official pro shot, and it is a new master that updates the highest quality.
Before we get to the quality of the show, let’s start with the position of the show. Even though it’s the “HOT IN THE SHADE Tour” in a sound source depopulated area, we’ve archived as many masterpieces as possible, so let’s take a look at the overall picture of the activity while also organizing it.
●1989
《October 17th: Release of “HOT IN THE SHADE”》
●1990
March 11th – April 25th: Warm-up (3 shows) ←※THE STONE PONY 1990
May 4th – August 8th: North America #1 (64 shows) ←※DETROIT MAY 1990
August 16th – November 9th: North America #2 (57 shows) ←★Here★
●1991
《November 24th: Eric Carr passes away》
[An official work that was postponed for official release]
This is the journey from the release of “HOT IN THE SHADE” to the death of Eric Carr. We also introduce the similarly titled pro shot “DETROIT MAY 1990 UPGRADE (Shades 1930)”, but this is a completely different performance. It was the 42nd concert of “North America #2”.
As mentioned above, this show was also included in “KISSOLOGY VOLUME 2,” but this work is a different one, but it is still officially involved. Currently, KISS is releasing a number of first-time appearance soundboards under the name “Off the Soundboard” series, and in fact, the 1990 Auburn Hills performance was also a candidate. The plan to release it as a triple LP was underway, but it was the “1985 San Antonio performance” that was actually released.
And this work is the master for such an official release. It is also created from the original tape cut for LP! In fact, the sound of this work is the best ever and completely official. Indeed, since it is an official release, there is no room for complaint, and the recording and mix are ironclad (however, the official master cuts MC’s “fuck” and “mother fucker”. In this work, it is supplemented with a separate sound board, and the sound quality of only that part is slightly different).
[A complete album with a delicious Rise To It that is not included in the official pro shot]
What you can enjoy on such an illusory official sound board is the full show of “HOT IN THE SHADE Tour”, which was Eric Carr’s last stage. It is different from “DETROIT MAY 1990 UPGRADE”, so let’s organize the set while paying attention to the differences.
●70’s Classics (13 songs)
・KISS: Deuce/Black Diamond/Strutter/Cold Gin
・DESTROYER: Shout It Out Loud/God Of Thunder/Detroit Rock City
・Others: I Stole Your Love/Calling Dr. Love/I Was Made for Lovin’ You (*)/Love Gun/I Want You/Rock And Roll All Nite
●80’s (9 songs)
・HOT IN THE SHADE: Rise To It (★)/Hide Your Heart/Forever
・Others: Heaven’s On Fire/Crazy Crazy Nights/Fits Like A Glove/Lick It Up/Tears Are Falling/I Love It Loud
*Note: Songs marked with “★” were cut from the official pro-shot version. Songs marked with “*” were not included in “DETROIT MAY 1990 UPGRADE (Shades 1930)”.
…And so it is. “Rise to It”, which was cut from the official pro shot, is also included, but this is not just an expansion. “Rise to It” is a limited song only for “HOT IN THE SHADE Tour”, and you can listen to it on a completely official sound board. This pleasure cannot be replaced by anything.
This is a phantom official live album whose official release was postponed for unknown reasons. An absolute edition that allows you to fully enjoy the sound source depopulated area “HOT IN THE SHADE Tour” with a completely official sound. Please enjoy it anytime and forever with the press 2CD that will keep the master sound forever.

★Stereo soundboard recording of the “October 14, 1990 Auburn Hills performance”. This is an official soundboard that was supposed to be released as part of the “Off the Soundboard” series, and is a shocking work created from the original master tape. In addition to being of completely official quality, this is the complete version that also includes “Rise to It”, which was cut from the official pro-shot version of “KISSOLOGY VOL.2”.
