★First appearance! UPGRADE & EXPANDED EDITION!!!
A treasure trove of studio albums revealing the secrets behind the classic “DRESSED TO KILL” has arrived! This definitive album, featuring alternate versions of classic tracks, is now in stock!
This work permanently preserves 14 songs and 31 studio takes. All of these are stereo soundboard recordings from the “DRESSED TO KILL” production sessions. While the “DRESSED TO KILL” demos were recently unearthed in large numbers in the official Super Deluxe Edition, this work is not just that, but an even more extensive, complete version.
What’s more, this album not only includes the album tracks, but also the unreleased takes from the same sessions.
[Alternate versions of songs from the album (10 songs, 24 takes)]
*Note: “★” indicates songs that were not included in the Super Deluxe Edition of “DRESSED TO KILL.” “*” indicates Lullabee Studio Sessions.

●Five songs, one of each type
: Rock Bottom (Instrumental Outtake), Ladies In Waiting (Alternate Ending), Getaway (Instrumental Outtake), C’mon And Love Me (Alternate Mix), She (Instrumental Extended Outtake)
: Rock Bottom (Instrumental Outtake), Ladies In Waiting (Alternate Ending), Getaway (Instrumental Outtake), C’mon And Love Me (Alternate Mix), She (Instrumental Extended Outtake)
This work is mainly composed of “alternate versions of the 10 songs included in the album.” The number of takes varies for each, but the beginning of this work includes five songs with only one take.
While all five tracks are clearly different versions from the final version upon first listen, they are all of completely official quality. According to the importer’s materials, they appear to have been leaked during the production of the official Super Deluxe Edition, and the sound and content are very similar. Even the vivid countdowns and brief conversations that convey the studio atmosphere are included.
●2種ずつの「Room Service」「Love Her All I Can」
・Room Service:Instrumental Outtake/Extended Outtake
・Love Her All I Can:Alternate Mix/Instrumental Outtake
・Room Service:Instrumental Outtake/Extended Outtake
・Love Her All I Can:Alternate Mix/Instrumental Outtake
”Room Service” and “Love Her All I Can” are each recorded in two takes: one with vocals and one instrumental. Particularly impressive is “Love Her All I Can (Alternate Mix),” a masterpiece featuring a light and cool acoustic rhythm guitar.
●「Two Timer」(3種)
・Extended Alternate Mix/Alternate Mix/Instrumental Outtake
・Extended Alternate Mix/Alternate Mix/Instrumental Outtake
The following “Two Timer” is recorded in three takes. The official Super Deluxe Edition had a fairly random composition, but the number of takes seems to increase as this work progresses.
The highlight here is the two different versions that incorporate acoustic guitar. In particular, the “Alternate Mix” is a completely unplugged version, revealing the essence of the song.
●「Anything For My Baby」(5種)
・Extended Alternate Mix/Alternate Mix(*)/take 2(★)/Instrumental Extended Outtake/Studio Demo
・Extended Alternate Mix/Alternate Mix(*)/take 2(★)/Instrumental Extended Outtake/Studio Demo
The final section of Disc 1, “Anything For My Baby,” features five different versions. The acoustic version is a highlight, but the final “Studio Demo” is even more essential. The moment it starts, you’re instantly captivated by the rhythm of “Rock & Roll All Nite.” The familiar riff starts playing in your head, but what you actually hear is the refrain of “Anything For My Baby.” Perhaps that intro could even have been used for “Anything For My Baby”… This is a must-listen take that lets you experience firsthand the studio experience that could change rock history.
Most of the album was recorded at Electric Lady Studios in New York in February 1975, but takes marked with an asterisk (*) were recorded at a different session at Larrabee Studios in North Hollywood in January 1975.
●「Rock And Roll All Nite」(7種)
・Instrumental Outtake/Alternate Studio Demo(★)/Studio Demo – Alternate Vocal Take/Studio Demo/The Party Version/Fast Version/Final Take(★*)
・Instrumental Outtake/Alternate Studio Demo(★)/Studio Demo – Alternate Vocal Take/Studio Demo/The Party Version/Fast Version/Final Take(★*)
This is DISC 2. The iconic number “Rock and Roll All Nite” is available in seven different versions. While the official Super Deluxe Edition only had five versions, this is the complete version, including the “Alternate Studio Demo” and “Final Take” that weren’t even available on the super expensive box set.
Each version is completely different from the full version, but “The Party Version” is particularly interesting. The hustle and bustle of a party is overdubbed throughout, giving the song a much more festive feel. This is a perfect version that makes you think, perhaps this is exactly how it should have been. The “Fast Version,” with its increased tempo, is also a highlight. It’s a masterpiece take that evokes the excitement of a live performance.

■「Burning Up With Fever」(3種)
・Studio Demo/Mix 2(★*)/Take 2(★)
・Studio Demo/Mix 2(★*)/Take 2(★)
The final section is a song that was produced during the “DRESSED TO KILL” sessions but did not make it onto the album.
First up is “Burning Up With Fever.” This track was eventually included on Gene Simmons’ solo album, but was also demoed during the sessions for “Dressed to Kill” and “Destroyer.” Of course, it’s the former that’s included on this release. It features three different versions with different arrangements and tempos. While the “Studio Demo” was also available on the official Super Deluxe Edition, “Mix 2” and “Take 2” are treasures that can only be found on this release.
■「Mistake」(2種)
・Studio Demo/with Ace Frehley Solo(★*)
・Studio Demo/with Ace Frehley Solo(★*)
Two versions of “Mistake” are also included. The highlight is the “with Ace Frehley Solo” track, which isn’t included on the official Super Deluxe Edition. While the solo is omitted from the official version, this version includes Ace Frehley’s solo.
■One each of “It’s The Fire” and “Doncha Hesitate”
・It’s The Fire (★) / Doncha Hesitate (Outtake) (★)
・It’s The Fire (★) / Doncha Hesitate (Outtake) (★)
The album concludes with “It’s The Fire” and “Doncha Hesitate.” These are two songs that were omitted from the official Super Deluxe Edition. “Doncha Hesitate (Outtake)” is also different from the official 2001 “THE BOX SET” version.
