Johnny’s 1984 career saw him release the classic “In Cold Blood” and the acoustic “Hurt Me” in 1983, reunite with the Heartbreakers, and remix “L.A.M.F.” This rare recording features a high-quality stereo audience recording of a live performance at Norrhupping, Sweden on November 9, 1984, featuring bassist Keith Yong, a member of the recording line-up for the album “Que Sera Sera,” Michael Simren on side guitar, and former Clash member Terry Chimes on drums! The recording was digitally transferred by the recording artist himself from the original master cassette, resulting in exceptional sound quality for the time, with a wide range and well-balanced clarity across each part. This was the fifth gig of a six-day Swedish tour following a UK tour with Hanoi Rocks the previous month (the fourth gig is included on the same label’s previously released “JET BOYS IN SWEDEN (TOTH1860)”). The setlist included “Que Sera Sera” tracks “Little Bit of Whore,” “Endless Party,” and “MIA,” as well as “Countdown Love,” which was also recorded for the album but scrapped. It’s also a rare opportunity to hear the full version of “Jet Boy,” a track from the Dolls era, and the encore featured four tracks, including the acoustic classic “You Can’t Put Your Arms Around A Memory.” Experience a night of superb sound quality as Johnny, who is in top form, delivers a truly amazing performance!
