 A fantastic Mike Millard tape. The 1989 period is great! Highly recommended for those who don’t recognize the setlist. This is a complete recording of the September 11, 1989 show at the Meadows Amphitheater in Irvine, California, in excellent quality! The Band’s “I SHALL BE RELEASED” is incredibly moving. I love David Kemper on drums and John Kahn on Steinberger. The bonus track features a special song: “DEAL,” featuring Clarence Clemons of the E Street Band. This popular song, the final song of the first set, features Jerry’s guitar solo, and this take is absolutely amazing – it blows your mind! Seriously awesome!
