Description
The series of radio recordings published on the Virtuoso label, which draws on material not protected (at least in certain countries) by copyright, is enriched with a new issue dedicated to another absolute master of the electric guitar. The 15-track setlist includes numerous tracks from the Jeff Beck Group’s seminal first album “Truth” – the famous “Beck’s Bolero” credited (not without controversy) to his friend Jimmy Page, Willie Dixon’s “You Shook Me” (which he recorded before Led Zeppelin), Bonnie Dobson’s “Morning Dew” plus “Rock My Plimsoul”, “Blues Deluxe” and “Let Me Love You” (all written by Beck with Rod Stewart, then the singer of his group) – plus covers of “(I Know I’m) Losing You” by the Temptations, “Tonight I’ll Be Staying Here With You” by Bob Dylan, “The Sun Is Shining” by Elmore James and “Ain’t No Sunshine” by Bill Withers.
