This is J. GEILS BAND in 1970/1971. Around the time of their debut, they were semi-professional, doing about 10 mini-tours at a time, but in 1971, they changed dramatically. They started their first full-scale tour, “USA #8,” which included more than 60 shows in about half a year. The Fillmore East performance in this work was the 63rd concert at the end of that tour.
This show was broadcast on the local station “WNEW-FM” and has produced many previously released groups. This work is also the same classic FM sound board, but it is the highest peak update board recently released by overseas core mania. It is a polished version of the best master, but the sound is like a “super realistic LIVE FULL HOUSE”. In terms of sound quality, it is equivalent to the traditional official work, but this work is even more vivid because it was originally for FM broadcasting. The unprocessed and unedited live performance is scorching hot, and the mix is rough. When exposed to that heat, “LIVE FULL HOUSE” feels small.
Such a high-end updated live sound board depicts the scorching hot stage that is unique to the debut era. It is a different set from “LIVE FULL HOUSE”, so let’s organize it by comparison.
●Debut! (8 songs)
Sno-Cone (★) Wait (★) First I Look At The Purse Homework Pack Fair And Square Cruisin’ For A Love Serves You Right To Suffer Hard Drivin’ Man
●Morning After (2 songs + α)
Whammer Jammer People-It Ain’t What You Do (It’s How You Do It) (★)
*Note: Songs marked with “★” are songs that were not heard on the traditional album “LIVE FULL HOUSE.”

… and so it goes like this. “People” may be an unfamiliar song title, but it is a 30-second improvisation song that leads to “It Ain’t What You Do (It’s How You Do It)”. And the show is almost entirely dedicated to the debut album “J. GEILS BAND”. Eight of the 11 songs are played one after another, making it truly worthy of being called the “live performance version of the first album”, and the pleasure of having a masterpiece that is blown up by the stage tension poured into your brain is irreplaceable.
That is the highest peak update of the legendary sound board with the same value as “J. GEILS BAND”. That is the true nature of this work. An absolute masterpiece that should have been made into an official work. Please enjoy this best sound work to the fullest.
★Stereo soundboard recording of the “June 27, 1971 Fillmore East Performance”. This is the highest peak update board, where overseas enthusiasts have refined the best masters on the legendary FM broadcast soundboard. In terms of quality, it is comparable to the traditional album “LIVE FULL HOUSE”, but far surpasses the vividness. This is an absolute work that will be the “first album of live performances” with 8 of the 11 songs from the debut album.
