IGGY POP – ST. ANDREW’S HALL 1986

A new item has been released, recorded on a good stereo soundboard recording of a live performance held at St. Andrew’s Hall in Detroit on November 8, 1986, from the “Blur Blur Blur Tour” held after the release of the eighth album “Blur Blur Blur”, which was produced by Bowie and marked the band’s comeback! It has been digitally transferred directly from the master tape recorded for radio broadcast, and although it is a rough mix, it is recorded with a powerful and clear sound quality! It is a shame that the ending part of the last song “Cry For Love” is faded out and missing, but the rest of the album is recorded in its entirety. The set list features nine songs, including the opening with the Stooges numbers “I Got A Right” and “Gimme Danger”, which will make you swoon, as well as “Fire Girl”, “Cry For Love”, and “Winners And Losers”, which were co-written with Steve Jones from the new album “Blah Blah Blah” at the time. The set list features Seamus Begen’s keyboards that resonate in the air, and the tight performance is superb! You can enjoy it to the end of the encore!
