In ​​2019, the outtake recordings of “CHINESE DE MOCRACY”, commonly known as “THE VILLAGE SESSIONS”, were leaked from the locker of Geffen Records A&R Tom Zutau and became a hot topic in the general news. A digest version press 2CD featuring carefully selected best takes and versions from the 8-hour studio session is now available! This recording was immediately bought back by the band after it was leaked, so despite the buzz, only a few enthusiasts were able to listen to it, and the previously released VOL.1 (3CDR) and VOL.2 (4CDR) of the same title were immediately sold out and difficult to obtain. VOL.1 (3 CDR) and VOL.2 (4 CDR) were all studio sessions that were leaked from the locker, and the recording levels and sound pressures were all different, so they were items for enthusiasts who valued the material value. However, this time, the best takes and versions of the songs have been carefully selected, and the sound pressure has been adjusted to be even throughout, making it a long-awaited release with content and structure that emphasizes appreciation and can be recommended to all fans! First, disc 1 mainly contains demos and rough mixes of the singles from the “CHINESE DEMOCRACY” album, and then “PHAHAPS” and “HARD SKOOL” released after Slash and Duff returned. Disc 2 contains songs that have not yet been released, as well as rehearsals for “KNOCKIN’ ON HEAVEN’S DOOR” and “WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE” by the members of this period, and the content covers the key points of the album production, from songs that are almost final mixes to rough songs before the vocals are added.
