The legendary soundboard album, also known as “Stage Edition APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION” and “Complete Edition LIVE FROM THE JUNGLE”, has arrived. It will be released on a press CD that permanently preserves the best masters.

This work was recorded at the “June 28, 1987 Marquee Club” performance. It is a stereo soundboard recording that captures the entire performance. Speaking of “GUNS N’ ROSES at Marquee,” our shop’s famous live recording “DEFINITIVE MARQUEE 1987 (Zodiac 813)” is a classic, but this work is a completely different performance. [SBD that will send the legendary Marquee Club into your brain]
This is GUNS N’ ROSES in 1987. With the release of their debut single “It’s So Easy,” they traveled to the UK and performed three showcase gigs at the Marquee Club. This was also their first live performance overseas. While the masterpiece “DEFINITIVE MARQUEE 1987” was the second performance on the middle day, this work was the concert on the final day.

This show is also famous for being the basis for “LIVE FROM THE JUNGLE,” and this work is its complete soundboard. Based on a treasured tape owned by former manager Alan Niven, the missing “Whole Lotta Rosie” has been complemented by another master.

The sound of this work is a completely official, top-notch product that proves its origins through sound. It’s not just high quality, but the finished product has a subtle official feel. While the performance is full-on, echo processing and overdubbed cheers that you wouldn’t expect from a marquee create a stadium-like spectacle. It doesn’t feel like every detail has been carefully crafted, but it’s clearly different from a direct-to-recording mix. It has a roughness that sounds like it was made for a single B-side or promo, and it’s very 1987-esque.

Of course, this is the highest peak of the album. Using the best master currently known, it has been mastered with its own unique mastering. The pitch, which was high in the original sound, has been adjusted just right, faithfully reproducing the on-site sound as much as possible.

[The complete version of LIVE FROM THE JUNGLE on the day]
Such a unique official sound depicts a scorching hot stage that will be the “complete version LIVE FROM THE JUNGLE”. The set is similar to the previous day’s “DEFINITIVE MARQUEE 1987”, so let’s organize it by comparing them.

Welcome To The Jungle / Out Ta Get Me / Rocket Queen (*) / Nightrain / My Michelle / It’s So Easy (★) / Mr. Brownstone / Paradise City
●Other (5 songs)

The final day, symbolized by being officially recorded during the legendary three-day marquee, is this work, the pinnacle of such a full soundboard. This is a rare, ultra-excellent live album, showcasing the band’s potential, which had just been created with “APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION,” and their first overseas and stage performance. Please enjoy this press CD, which will never lose its brilliance.
