Live at Royal Albert Hall London, UK 6th April 1992 TRULY PERFECT SOUND(from Original Masters)
★UPGRADE

George’s charity concert at the Royal Albert Hall in 1992 was initially intended as a bonus to his Japan tour the previous year. In fact, the concert was a one-off, and the tour never materialized. As a result, it came to occupy a significant position as the last concert George ever gave before his death. This day has spawned numerous audience recordings, including the release of “HARI & HIJACK BAND” in real time.

The masterpiece that swept away all of these past releases was “ROYAL ALBERT HALL 1992,” released in 2016. After the CD release, which was a direct conversion from the master’s high-position cassette, was met with great acclaim and sold out, the masterpiece “ROYAL ALBERT HALL 1992 REVISITED,” which achieved a stunning upgrade with thorough remastering by “GRAF ZEPPELIN,” also sold out last year.

This is the best recording of what turned out to be George’s final concert, and we couldn’t let it disappear from the market, so we’re re-releasing it on the Merseyside label.

For this re-release, GRAF ZEPPELIN has made some fine adjustments to the sound source. Although it’s so finely tuned that you probably won’t be able to tell the difference between this and the previous version, they still didn’t want this to be just a re-release, so they made the necessary adjustments.

The sound quality of the high-position cassette master provided was excellent, and it also showed how well the previous “GRAF ZEPPELIN” remaster had been completed. The sound quality of the original recording itself is truly amazing. Past items, including the old “HARI & HIJACK BAND,” have a distant sound image and a strong RAH echo.

In that respect, this sound source, which has been well-received since its release in 2016, is suddenly much easier to listen to. The closeness of George’s singing voice is particularly appealing, and the balance of the performance that wraps around it is exquisite. And although it wasn’t a scene that involved the performance, the previous version’s brilliant finish was also due to the fact that the cut that hit the cassette’s face-change point was meticulously compensated for with the previous sound source.

What’s more, the biggest appeal of this recording is how George seems to be having a really good time. It’s clear throughout the recording that he regained his live sense during the Japan tour six months ago, and since it was a live performance in his home country, he was chatting non-stop from the beginning. The best example of this is when George introduced his band members early in the show. Andy Fairweather-Low erupted in cheers, which was especially fitting for a British venue.

What stands out even more is George’s enthusiastic attitude. The finale, “Roll Over Beethoven,” incites the audience with high energy, showing how the performers have evolved since their Japan tour, when they were still in a state of uncertainty. Also, don’t miss the gospel-like evolution of “Isn’t It A Pity,” with Ray Cooper ringing bells and the chorus shouting more than in the Japanese performance.

Another attraction of this recording is that the two opening acts were completely recorded, but Gary Moore, who was at the height of his blues career, was already singing and playing guitar. His dream team with George was realized on “While My Guitar Gently Weeps,” but it has now become a very valuable collaboration.

This spectacular collaboration is more than just a live event, and above all, it’s a fantastic audience album capturing that legendary day, with George’s lively performance shining through the entire album. Fans who were disheartened by the sold-out release of the previous Graf Zeppelin release can now rest easy. This time, it’s a return from Merseyside!

REMASTERED BY GRAF ZEPPELIN
★Although some phase correction and bandwidth adjustment have been made this time, it is essentially a reissue of the previous version.
*The following is the previous remaster memo
Directly recorded from the master cassette by the recording artist (2 x MRX PRO 90 (Metal Position: Type IV)). An astonishing, completely unreleased sound source, with the highest level of sound quality!

★The mid-to-high range has been corrected. This remastering is the exact opposite of the “more powerful” or “more powerful” sound that is often achieved with a more subdued sound that is more pleasing to the ear.
★ Three separate sources from the same day were used to fill in the gaps between songs, achieving the longest recording ever (★ This time it was increased by about 3 minutes).
The separate sources from the same day are below, and since the same talking and applause can be heard, it can be seen that they are in very close positions to each other.
*The disc change position has been changed due to the recording time compensation mentioned above.

GEORGE HARRISON – ROYAL ALBERT HALL 1992: THE VIDEO (Ltd Bonus DVDR)
Live at Royal Albert Hall London, UK 6th April 1992 AMAZING SHOT

[A complete recording of George Harrison’s final UK performance!]
On April 6, 1992, George Harrison’s final full concert before his death at the Royal Albert Hall in London was completely captured with a high-quality audience shot. Based on a very good stereo audience recording, shots from the left-hand stand on the first floor and the right-hand stand on the second floor, as well as screenshots, were skillfully combined to create a synchronized, complete version. The audio audience source is consistent, with no interruptions during or between songs. The video transitions are also very smooth. The image quality is reasonably clear, with no color loss, making it easy to watch. Unlike his Japan tour, George at this time sported a mustache. While Clapton’s absence may have diminished the show’s appeal, some Beatles and George fans saw this as a genuine George Harrison-focused concert. Instead of a mid-stage guest set, he completed the set with his own numbers. It certainly maintained the tension of the audience, making it a truly George Harrison-focused concert. This is a rare opportunity to see footage of the band performing with Ringo Starr, Joe Welsh, Gary Moore, and others. The recording is 99 minutes long. This is the only CD recording of the 1992 London concert. This is a must-have and must-see for fans, as it complements the original footage.
