The album “Extra Texture” was released in 1975 during George Harrison’s first and last US tour. This was his last album on the Apple label, and was unpopular at the time, but it won a gold disc. “We Both Say I Love You” and “The Guitar is Crying” were also hit singles. This “AI Audio Companion” is a new compilation that brings together different sound sources from previous remastered CDs, and DISC 1 contains all the songs on the album as “AI NEW REMIXALBUM”, a unique multi-track new remix using AI sound source analysis, with vocals and backing tracks more clearly separated. The second half of the album includes the bonus track “The Guitar is Crying” (Platinum Weird Version), which was not included in the original album, and “AI BACKING TRACKS INSTRUMENTAL” contains backing tracks that have been edited using AI sound source analysis to remove the vocals from the five songs on side A of the album and turn them into instrumental tracks. The latest edit has been used to record the more evolved complete karaoke version. DISC 2 is a “MULTITRACKS ALTERNATE REMIX ALBUM” that is an alternate album with a different mix from the “AI NEW REMIX ALBUM” on DISC 1, re-edited based on multi-tracks that separate the vocals and backing. The second half of the album contains five songs on side B and bonus
tracks as the latest reference for sound research, allowing you to compare George Harrison’s last Apple album in the 1970s with different sound sources.
