GENESIS – UNRELEASED LIVE COLLECTION VOLUME 2 (LP)

Description

“Tracks recorded at various locations in the UK between 1970 and 1974,” reads a sentence printed on the back cover of volume 1 of this “Unreleased Live Collection” by Genesis, an unofficial LP containing eight live and radio-sourced tracks. The setlist (sometimes with incorrect or incomplete titles) actually features only tracks from the double concept album “The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway,” performed live during the tour that featured Peter Gabriel (vocals and flute), Phil Collins (drums, percussion, vibraphone, and vocals), Mike Rutherford (bass, pedals, twelve-string guitar, and vocals), Tony Banks (keyboards and backing vocals), and Steve Hackett (acoustic and electric guitars) from November 20, 1974 (Chicago) to May 22, 1975 (Besançon, France).
