Description
Published by Stylus Groove in just 500 hand-numbered copies and pressed on colored vinyl with different abstract graphics from copy to copy, this unofficial LP features a portion of Genesis’s concert at London’s Hammersmith Odeon on June 10, 1976, during the “Trick of the Tail” tour, taken from the radio program of the time. The addition of Bill Bruford as second drummer and percussionist allowed Phil Collins to take on the role of frontman and lead singer for the first time live. The six tracks selected here feature him reinterpreting old classics from “The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway,” “Selling England By The Pound,” and “Trespass,” originally sung by Peter Gabriel. The package includes a QR code that allows you to download the eBook “Genesis: The Gabriel Years” and the documentary film “Genesis In Their Own Words.”
