Homespun documents on an unofficial CD a date from the legendary tour in which Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, Christine McVie, John McVie and Mick Fleetwood promoted the all-time best-selling album “Rumours,” released in February 1977: this show, taken from a vintage WLBP-FM recording, took place on August 30, 1978 at LSU Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The growing tension between the members of the group, evident backstage, however produced concerts of great intensity like this one in which the songs from the new album (“The Chain”, “Dreams”, “Never Going Back Again”, “Oh Daddy”, “Gold Dust Woman”, “Second Hand News”, Sisters Of The Moon”, “Songbird”) alternated with classics from the previous “Fleetwood Mac” such as “Monday Morning”, “Rhiannon”, “Landslide”, “Say You Love Me” and “Blue Letter” while the then unreleased “Sisters Of The Moon” would appear the following year on “Tusk”.
