The November 17th concert at Nakano Sunplaza in Tokyo—the second show of Elvis Costello’s 1987 Japan tour backed by The Confederates—and the November 20th concert at Sapporo Kosei Nenkin Hall—the tour’s fourth date—both make their debut with the highest-quality soundboard recordings!

The Sapporo show starts partway through the first song and lacks the final few tracks, but the Tokyo show is a complete recording of the entire concert. Featuring Nick Lowe as the opening act, alongside James Burton, Jim Keltner, and the lineup of The Confederates, this is the first release of these precious 1987 soundboard recordings from both Japan tour shows!
