After announcing his retirement following his final Las Vegas performance in January 2022, David Lee Roth made a highly anticipated return to the stage on May 3rd of this year, headlining the second day of the M3 Rock Festival in Columbia, Maryland! Now, the full HD, multi-angle footage of this comeback show is available in a complete edition.

The footage primarily features close-up shots from center stage, mixed with additional angles from the left, right, and rear, all captured from elevated positions for an unobstructed view. Thanks to the high-quality audio and dynamic visuals, the result is virtually professional-shot quality — in fact, the sense of presence and energy may even surpass that of an official production.

Due to prolonged COVID-related disruptions, Roth’s Las Vegas concerts in January 2022 were ultimately canceled. As a result, this marked his first live performance in five years, since supporting KISS on their 2000 Farewell Tour. Backed by a solid band that includes four backup vocalists, Roth delivered a surprisingly strong performance that defied expectations.

Special mention must be made of Al Estrada, whose guitar work and tone are a near-perfect channeling of Eddie Van Halen himself — truly a highlight of the show. With a summer tour now officially announced, this release serves as an exciting prelude to what’s to come. A must-watch for fans!
