Description

Dan Dugmore (guitar), Michael Finnigan (keyboards and vocals), Davey Faragher (bass and vocals) and Jody Cortez (drums) accompany David Crosby (guitar and vocals) in this concert recorded for the radio show “King Biscuit Flower Hour” at the Tower Theatre in Philadelphia on April 18, 1989, just reissued by Homespun on unofficial CD. In January of that year, and after the well-known vicissitudes, the Californian singer-songwriter had finally released his second solo album “Oh Yes I Can”, on which the performance focuses thanks to new songs such as “Tracks In The Dust”, “Drive My Car”, “Lady Of The Harbor”, “Monkey & The Underdog” and the title track. Other recent cuts such as “Compass” and “Night Time For The Generals” (from Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young’s 1988 album “American Dreams”) join Crosby’s ’60s classics (“Guinnevere,” “Déjà Vu,” “Wooden Ships,” “Almost Cut My Hair,” “Long Time Gone”) and “In My Dreams” from “CSN” (1977).
