2025 Restoration – Radio Bremen TV Studio 3 Bremen, West Germany 29th May 1978 PRO-SHOT

★UPGRADE & LONGER
The classic “ISOLAR II Tour” pro shot has been upgraded! The first complete version has been released immediately!!
This work was filmed in Bremen on May 29, 1978. It is a multi-camera pro shot from an appearance on the legendary music program “Musikladen Extra” (previously said to be “May 30th,” but recent research suggests it was recorded on “May 29th”). This video, along with the Dallas performance pro shot, is a classic classic that has represented the “ISOLAR II Tour,” and is also familiar to us as a gift title. This work is the latest master and the definitive edition that updates the highest peak.
Before we get into the quality, let’s start with the position. 1978 is a time known for the traditional live album “STAGE,” so let’s also check the positional relationship with the overview of the activities at that time.
●1978
March 29th – May 9th: North America (31 shows) ← *Official STAGE
May 14th – July 1st: Europe (34 shows) ← ★Here★ {September:
“STAGE” released / “LODGER” production begins} November
11th – December 2nd: Oceania (9 shows)
December 6th – 12th: Japan (5 shows)
This is the overall picture of the “ISOLAR II Tour”. While the traditional album “STAGE” was produced in the opening “North American” leg, this work’s appearance on “Musikladen Extra” was a part of the following “European” leg. In 2017, the “European” leg’s excavation live album “LIVE IN BERLIN” was also released, but this work is about two weeks later.
Such “Musikladen Extra” footage has been a classic and has been upgraded over the years. The highest peak to date was our “MUSIKLADEN TV EXTRA: HD REBROADCAST,” a digital rebroadcast version from 2016. However, this work is a new master that completely surpasses that masterpiece.
It was actually produced and released by the rock archive channel “Nacho Video.” What’s most impressive about it is that it’s significantly longer than the previous release, making it the first complete version in history, utilizing several masters to restore the entire performance of the day. While the previous version was about 42 minutes long, this complete version is about 56 minutes long, including two previously unaired songs. Finally, let’s take a look at the set contents.
●Berlin era (5 songs)
・Low: What In The World (★) / Warszawa (★)
・Heroic Dream Talk: Sense Of Doubt / Beauty And The Beast / “Heroes”
●Other (5 songs)
・Station to Station: Stay / TVC 15
・Other: The Jean Genie / Alabama Song / Rebel Rebel
*Note: Songs marked with “★” are unaired songs.
The beloved “Musikladen Extra,” also known as “the visual stage,” is now available in 2025. This is the longest and best-ever release yet. This is a truly exceptional disc, featuring the complete performance, including two previously unreleased tracks, in stunning, official-grade visuals. Enjoy the sight of Bowie, accompanied by Carlos Alomar and Adrian Belew, to your heart’s content.
